What you know
about fishing
works here.

The Gulf rose slowly, then stopped returning to the old mark. The lower streets joined the bay. Waterline is the fishing game set on what grew there.

01 / The Long Tide

The water stayed.
Life moved in.

People here call it the Long Tide. It did not arrive in one night. The gauges climbed over a run of wet years and stopped falling back to the old mark. The roads that mattered were raised. The lower grid became part of Sarasota Bay.

Salt water found the ditches first. Shrimp and mullet followed through culverts and canals. Oysters took the concrete. Mangroves filled the quiet corners. Snook and redfish came behind the bait.

That is why your street fishes. The raised center works like a bar. The gutter is a trough. A driveway drops into six feet, a roof line throws shade, and the outgoing tide pulls through all of it on the way to New Pass.

02 / What governs the bite

Read first.
Then throw.

The decision comes before the cast. Find moving water, choose a presentation that belongs there, and make the cast. Skill makes a good read better. Empty water stays empty.

Waterline combines tide predictions, observed weather, water temperature, mapped depth and structure, seasonal forage, and field history. The game uses those conditions to simulate where bait travels, where predators hold, and when a productive pattern falls apart.

The phone is the instrument

A throw should look like a throw.

Core Motion reads rotation, release, force, and level. A cast net opens because you opened it. A fish comes back to the boat because you managed the rod and reel. There is no account stat doing the work for you.

03 / Gameplay

How a trip
plays.

Plan a window. Point the camera at the water to lay depth, current, and structure onto the place in front of you. Stalk the read, choose live bait or an artificial, make the presentation, then manage the rod and reel if something eats. The phone does not fish for you.

Your live location, saved water, and catch history stay private. Nothing posts a spot for you. Community play uses delayed, area-level signals you choose to share, or exact water shared only with an invited group. You decide when a catch becomes a story and when it stays yours.

06 / The playable coast

One stretch.
Made alive.

The chart follows the Gulf Coast from St. Petersburg to Venice. Manatee River, Sarasota Bay, downtown flood streets, Lakewood Ranch, and Venice all fish differently.

The density is the point. Anglers working the same tides create fresh intel, shared challenges, catch records, and local rivalries. Main Street should feel as alive as New Pass.

A downtown trip can begin with a QR check-in at a nearby bar or restaurant, then lead the player to public flooded-street water. The business gets the visit. The player gets a local route and challenge.
